EasyBib at the ALA: Booth Setup
Posted by emrybib Friday, June 27, 2008The EasyBib team fought off a slight case of jetlag this morning, making it to the ALA conference bright and early for setup.
With the towers and attractions of DisneyLand beckoning Till from across the avenue, we implored him to focus for a few hours while we constructed our first EasyBib exhibit.
Things went fairly smooth, and in no time, EasyBib was branded all over the ALA exhibit hall.
We have no idea what to expect attendance wise from the conference, but the list of participants and the range of companies is really extensive. We’re definitely pumped to be in the mix of the ALA, and excited to spread the good word of EasyBib.
Stay tuned for some pics of the process and the booth…
EasyBib now has a Twitter account! Just add us and be up to date with all the activities we are up to. And for for those bibliography maniacs, not too much stalking now! =p
EasyBib Haircut
Posted by neal-tapariaYesterday at EasyBib we experienced a serious breach in principle. We of course abide by the laws of easiness and simplicity (EasyBib statute, #514). We believe in escalators not stairs, planes not trains, dishwashing not hand washing, and the all mighty ever increasing in speed segway scooter.
Yesterday, in a moment where he realized he looked more monkey than caveman, Darshan finally made the decision he should get a haircut. However, having moved from to the Southern Tip of Manhattan from Midtown, he was unsure of the barber abilities in his area (Darshan needs his curls just right!). Instead of walking a block away, he traveled a round trip of 124 city blocks to ensure his hair was just…well…perfect!
It was not necessarily the most convenient way to get a haircut, but you should see the way Darshan’s hair blows in the wind now! It’s a sight not to forget..

What we are up to?
Posted by tillinside Monday, June 23, 2008So, we have been working on a lot of new features of the new website and many other things in order to get ready for the ALA conference (that’s in California later this week and next).
Because of the busyness we had this blog sitting around for a good while and finally got around to putting it (“RoughDrafts”) in action! Welcome everybody, and enjoy!
And don’t forget to subscribe to our RSS feed.
I got an email from the team over @ Finding Dulcinea earlier this afternoon, letting us know EasyBib has been featured on their site. FD is known as the “Librarian of the Internet” and has featured EasyBib in their Web Guide to College Life section. Thanks for the shout out guys, always grateful to be a recommended part of the college experience.
EasyBib was featured on CollegeMogul.com as one of the most promising startups on the web. Thanks for the support! Check us out!
